Aitana Balaguer Roselló

Aitana is hematologist researcher, with a track record in translational research at Hospital Universitari I Politècnic La Fe(València, Spain). After her hematology training she worked for one year as clinical hematologist in several hospitals, but at the end she decided to continue her personal training as researcher hematologist at Hospital La Fe. Currently, Aitana is focussed on her PhD project about lymphomas and stem cell transplantation. Recently, thanks to a grant from the SEHH (Spanish Society of Hematology) Aitana has completed an observership at the Institute of
Oncology Research (IOR) in Bellinzona (Switzcherland) with Dr Rossi’s group to learn about molecular biology, liquid biopsy and NGS. Aitana is carrying out a project about NGS-based liquid biopsy for the study and monitoring of lymphomas.
