Cristina Martínez Valiente

She graduated from Polytechnic University of Valencia with a Biotechnology degree (2014), after studying linezolid resistant bacteria at the Dr. Peset University Hospital. Next year, she participated in an European project about the evolution of the seasonal human influenza A viruses at The Foundation for the Promotion of Health and Biomedical Research of Valencia Region (FISABIO), achieving a Master’s degree in Molecular, Cellular and Genetics Biology. In 2018, Cristina got the ACIF PhD grant and began her thesis in our group under the supervision of Dr. Alejandra Sanjuan. The aim of the study is to obtain and characterize a mouse model carrying the MDS patient mutations, improving the knowledge about the disease pathogenesis
