Mireya Morote Faubel

Mireya Morote Faubel, PhD student, is carrying out her thesis in the Hematology and Hemotherapy Research Group under the supervision of Dr. Alessandro Liquori, Dr. Mariam Ibáñez and Dr. Jose Cervera. Mireya got the ACIF 2018 grant awarded by the Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sports, which enable her to carry out her work in the Group.

She graduated in Biotechnology from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and carried out her final degree work at the Cavanilles Institute, along with Dr. Andrés Moya Simarro. After completing her degree, she made a 6-month internship at the VU Medical Center in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, under the supervision of Dr. Henri van de Vrugt. Later, she decided to continue his education in Granada, studying the official master’s degree in egenerative Biomedicine at the University of Granada. Finally, his first encounter with the IISLAFE was through the granting of the “Lanzadera” Scholarship granted by the CIBERONC.
