
Mireia Boluda Navarro
Mireia Boluda gained her undergraduate degree as a Pharmacist by the Universitat de València in 2014. In April 2015, she was awarded with a scholarship at the University of Huddersfield (UK) to work on the synthesis of natural products derivatives targeting neuroinflammation, where she obtained a Master of Philosophy degree (MPhil). Over that period, she acquired experience on basic organic chemistry as well as in cell culture and molecular biology. At present, she is carrying out her thesis project entitled “Molecular characterization of deep intronic mutations in Myelodisplastic Syndromes patients” at the Department of Hematology in the Health Research Institute la Fe (IIS la Fe) thanks to scholarship awarded by the AECC. She also combines her research work with scientific outreach activities.
